visual stories

Through thoughtful frames and sequences, visual stories weave together moments that transcend time, creating narratives that stay with the viewer.

nature

From vast landscapes to delicate details, nature photography celebrates the beauty, patterns, and harmony of the world that surrounds and sustains us.

Street

Moments of everyday life unfold on the streets—raw, candid, and unfiltered—offering glimpses into culture, movement, and human connection in its truest form.

Portrait

Capturing the depth of human emotion, each portrait tells a unique story through expressions, gestures, and subtle details that reveal the soul within.

Stripped of color, black & white images highlight form, contrast, and emotion—revealing timeless perspectives that go beyond the ordinary.

lifestyle

Lifestyle photography reflects the rhythm of everyday living, capturing authentic interactions, moods, and spaces that define personal stories.

Visual Stories

Naima’s visual stories go beyond single frames, unfolding narratives that reveal hidden layers of human experience. Each story is a journey—intimate, raw, and deeply connected to real life. From the silent struggles of the COVID-19 pandemic, to the unspoken lives inside beauty parlours, to the complexities of relationships like that of a stepmother—her work captures voices often unheard. With empathy and honesty, these series transform fleeting moments into lasting testimony, reminding us that photography is not just about seeing, but about understanding.

Beauty Parlour

Roma Beauty Parlor is more than a place of mirrors and makeup—it is a sanctuary where women rediscover themselves. Founded by a Hajji lady, the parlor carries her name, “Roma,” as a symbol of dignity and perseverance. Within its modest walls, women from different walks of life—educated, half-educated, even those with little schooling—come together to learn the delicate art of beauty.

Step Mother

Sharifa’s story is not only about caregiving. It is about redefining motherhood itself: the courage to love unconditionally, to nurture without expectation, and to turn despair into hope.

Let us all learn to dream, and to love, like Sharifa Khatun.

Covid-19

Through my work with the Quantum Foundation, I took on the task of washing the bodies of COVID victims. Standing before each lifeless body, I did more than cleanse their physical forms; I ensured their final journey was treated with dignity. The work was never easy. Cold hands, breathless faces, the silent exhale of life—it all taught me an unspoken lesson.
